German A1Chapter 12 of 25

Prepositions of Place

Say where things are in a city, a room, or a building.

This chapter teaches practical location phrases for everyday German: in the city, at the station, next to the university, in front of the Rathaus, and behind the supermarket. You will answer Wo ist ...? and use common place prepositions without going too deep into the full dative case yet. The next chapter explains the case pattern behind these phrases.
